The St James' Church Building and Property Foundation
Foundation Structure
The St James' Foundation Limited is a company limited by guarantee, and is trustee for the St James' Church Building and Property Foundation. The intention is to raise a capital sum for investment, the income from which will be applied to carry out the objectives set out of the Foundation. The St James' Church Building and Property Foundation alone has provided $750 thousand to St James' Church, King Street since inception.
Donations are being sought from corporations and individuals, with appropriate recognition given to donor’s generosity.
Objectives
The specific objects of the St James' Church Building and Property Foundation are to:
- provide financial assistance for the restoration, maintenance, improvement, enhancement and upkeep of the building, its fixtures, fittings and ornamentation known as the Parish Church of St James King Street Sydney.
- provide financial assistance for the preservation, protection, maintenance, improvement and enhancement of any property which the Trustee determines is or could be trust property of the Parish Church of St James.
